Our Summer Internship program typically lasts 10 weeks. We look for students that are available during that timeframe. Our interns will also typically work traditional business hours which are Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Typically, our interview process begins with a phone interview with a Campus Recruiter. If it is determined you would be a potential match for the role, a follow up interview will be scheduled with the hiring manager(s) either over the phone or in-person.
We will kick off the first week of the program with orientation activities including an introduction of Hilltop Holdings and its subsidiaries, an opportunity to hear from top leaders within the organization and learn about projects and opportunities within your assigned department. During the remaining weeks of the program, you will have the opportunity to participate in professional development and networking opportunities with other interns across the organization. Examples from past summers have included a fun offsite outing, a luncheon with executive leadership, and volunteering in the community.
